LAS VEGAS (April 6, 2010) - Three new-to-Las Vegas restaurants will open at Town Square through summer 2010. Dining concepts Nu Sanctuary Lounge, Lolita’s Cantina and Miller’s Ale House will add a fusion of flavor to the outdoor center’s tenant mix. Caña Latin Kitchen & Bar, IT’SUGAR, Francesca’s CollectionsTM and DQ® Orange Julius® opened in January and February. Euphoria hair salon debuted in March. With the addition of these three dining concepts, Town Square will have 17 restaurants, and 15 of them are new-to-Las Vegas. “Town Square has become a launching pad for many first-to-market retailers and restaurants,” said Mike Wethington, general manager for Town Square. “The center not only has an audience of loyal local customers, but our demographic captures the tourist market as well.” Edgy candy shop IT’SUGAR opened its 15th location at Town Square in January. The Boca Raton, Fla.-based company identified Las Vegas as its next location because the city’s remarkable energy and excitement fits with the store’s hip, edgy concept. “With its local appeal and variety of stores and restaurants that cater to all demographics, Town Square is an ideal place to launch a brand in a new market,” said IT’SUGAR founder Jeff Rubin, whose family pioneered the development of the traditional bulk candy stores. New-to Las Vegas restaurants slated to open through summer include: Nu Sanctuary Lounge- Nu Sanctuary Lounge, the latest incarnation from Nu Management Group, will embody the Garden of Eden and offer patrons a spiritual and healthy approach to food, drink and hookah. Partner Chef Kerry Simon has signed on Executive Chef Brian Howard from Kerry's Cathouse kitchen. With a relaxed atmosphere and organic feel, Nu will welcome guests to congregate around the hookah with friends in a social setting encouraging good people and good times. Balanced around a variety of herbs grown by a special team of doctors, Nu will incorporate the origins of these herbs to create a flavorful world menu, fresh beverages and an infusion of nature’s flavors for hookah. Fashion shows, belly dancers, world class DJs and a vibrant outdoor patio will also incorporate into the garden of Nu. Nu is slated to open April/May. Lolita’s Cantina- Miami meets Mexico at this brand new dining concept slated to open mid-June. Owner Eric Deblasi, developer of restaurants and nightclubs including Ibiza and Margarita Rocks in Los Angeles, Calif., will deliver a destination that features life-size holographic images within the venue. Guests will be able to see three dimensional images of dueling guitar players, mariachi bands and more. Award-winning celebrity chef and mixologist Carlo Cavallo joins Lolita’s and will prepare modern specialties and regional classics with most price points under $20. Chef Cavallo most recently has won the 2009 Best Beef in America Chef's Challenge and is the 2009 & 2010 Martini Madness winner for best overall martini. He has cooked for a roster of celebrities and high-profile clients. He recently catered events for the San Francisco Mexican consulate when President of Mexico Felipe Calderon and Leonel Godoy, Governor of Michoacán, visited last year. Lolita’s will feature more than 100 different tequilas, hand crafted margaritas, specialty cocktails and a combination of DJ’s and live music that will transform it from a casual daytime dining spot into a nighttime hotspot. Miller’s Ale House - Florida-based Miller’s Ale House will offer a casual dining environment with a sports bar twist when it opens mid summer. With 50 restaurants located throughout Florida, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois, this will be the company’s first location in Las Vegas. The Ale House menu features a variety of dishes and specials including its World Famous Zingers,® boneless chicken wings coated in a choice of sauces, and Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure, a delicious homemade ice cream cake with an Oreo cookie crust, caramel, chocolate fudge and heath bar crunch. Delicious steaks, original pasta dishes, fresh seafood, healthy salads, robust sandwiches and homemade desserts are also on the menu. There will be two full size bars featuring more than 38 beers on tap and an unlimited selection of cocktails and daily drink specials. For the sports fan, the spacious restaurant will feature more than 40 flat screen HDTV’s, all major sports packages, pool tables and arcade games.
