Run For A Wish
Kendall Tenney's 5K 'Run for a Wish' is slated for February 4 at 9 a.m. The 5k and one mile fun walk will feature activities for the whole family and a post-event awards ceremony. All proceeds from the event benefit the Southern Nevada chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Its mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Fulfilling a child's wish provides a joyful and meaningful experience that benefits both the child and the family.

Go out for Valentine's Day Dessert

Music in the Square takes center stage this month. Enjoy the musical sounds of local artists and bands from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on February 10 and 24 in Town Square Park. Squeeze in dinner at one of Town Square's restaurants before or after the entertainment and you'll have the perfect night on the Town.

Storytime in the Square
Reading is fun, and it's even better with singing, dancing and magic. Bring your child to Town Square Park for an interactive story time every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon and enjoy a reading of classic children's tales and new favorites. Whole Foods Market has launched a Kid's Fit Club for children in grades fourth through eighth to help them understand the importance of eating healthy. The club meets the first and third Sunday of the month at Whole Foods Market, and children are encouraged to attend the free 90- minute classes. Each class is broken up into several sections and focus on nutrition, hands-on activities, fitness and healthy food options. Take your four-legged friend out on the town to his first Paw-tay social hosted by The Dog House. The Paw-tay will take place on February 9 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. inside the store. All bras collected will be donated to Safenest, which is part of the National Network to end domestic violence.
