Scent of a Bombshell
Victoria’s Secret (702.270.0088) has a new fragrance debuting this month and it’s a bombshell. Victoria’s Secret Bombshell ($45, 1.7 oz. of eau de perfume) combines Purple Passion Fruit from the Brazilian rainforest and effervescent Moscato d’Asti grapes from Tuscany. The addition of exotic floralcy with Shangri-la Yellow Peonies discovered along the trail of the White Horse Snow Mountains in China and Vanilla Orchid, the beautiful bloom of the vanilla plant, produces a beautiful effervescent fruity-floral. The creators did not stop there. They added a sexy Bombshell twist with Italian Sunstruck Pine, a stunning aromatic note of Ligurian Pine captured at the moment it’s warmed by the afternoon sun. Bombshell is the first women’s fragrance to use this unique headspace note, creating an entirely new fragrance category in the process: Fruity Aromatic Floral. Together, the sparkling fruits are balanced by sultry depth for a fresh sensuality that is confident, sexy, glamorous and ultra feminine. Bombshell will be available on September 14.

Back to School in Style
Back to school is in full swing, but if you’re children’s wardrobe is missing a few key pieces, Gap (702.361.2447) is your back to school headquarters. The Gap store at Town Square features the Gap Kids line, which includes uniform pieces in a wide range of sizes, styles and colors for boys and girls. Give Your Home a New Look
If a home makeover is on tap for fall, Robb & Stucky Interiors (702.531.0531) has four exclusive, new furniture collections. In the relaxed lifestyle category, Elements uses natural materials of walnut, fossil, stone and leather. City Place is a contemporary line with classic mid 20th-century influences - clean design and sophisticated embellishments, with a creative use of exotic materials. Monterey uses Asian alder wood and contemporary gun metal hardware accents mixed with natural wicker and linen. SoHo is an urban collection using quartered white oak. Smaller in scale, it is perfect for condominiums or second homes and is available in light and dark woods.

What’s New: phēnom
Local Las Vegans Peter and Tracey Horowitz and Barry and Debra Jacobson are taking the experience they’ve garnered for the past 25 years and putting that to work for themselves at their new store phēnom. phēnom opened September 1 and carries men’s and women’s casual and contemporary clothing and accessories in a wide range of prices. Shoppers will find several brands for women including Dzhavael, Monoreno, MEK denim and Rock Revival. Men’s brands include International Laundry, Apricottree, Hause of Howe, Smash, ProjekRaw and more. One of the store highlights is the Stark Raving Mod Collection, a new brand designed by Los Angeles-based artist Sean D'Anconia. The graphics feature a Japanese spin on the MOD movement accented by British spies and lies and are depicted on t-shirts designed for men and women. phēnom is located just down the street from Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar, next to Aldo.

What’s New: Paradigm
Husband and wife entrepreneurs Benjamin and Tyler Westover will bring their Idaho-based fashion concept Paradigm to the center in September. Paradigm caters to young professionals who look for quality and eye-catching clothing that’s fashion forward. The shop will carry men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories as well as the full seasonal line from various designers to create ‘a store within a store’ concept. Paradigm opened an 800-square-foot location in Boise in 2008, and in under a year, the Westover’s opened a second location in Boise, encompassing almost 6,000 square feet between the two locations. Center Happenings: Wine Walk September 4
After a summer hiatus, the wine walk season picks back up on September 4 with the Big One, the biggest event of the year. The event is slated from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will showcase a variety of food and wine. The cost is $75 per person and it will be located in the parking lot between Whole Foods Market and Fry’s Electronics. Proceeds will benefit New Vista Community, a local charity committed to providing equal opportunities and support to intellectually challenged people of all ages so that they may experience life to the fullest. Center Happenings: Vegas Brews on September 11
Sample a variety of great beers, tasty bites and enjoy live entertainment during the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Vegas Brews at Town Square on September 11 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. More than 15 local and regional breweries will be on hand to showcase their seasonal ales. Tickets are $25 for the general public and half price for service men and women (military, police and firefighters and paramedics - with valid I.D.) What to do: Gear up for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Several shops at Town Square are supporting breast cancer awareness month in October with items that give back to charitable organizations that make a difference. GUESS by Marciano, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Origins, White House | Black Market, Soma, Chico’s and Ann Taylor have created items that when purchased, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to organizations such as Susan G Komen for the Cure®, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC). What to do: Go see the Cat in the Hat
The Cat in the Hat along with Vegas PBS will make a special visit to Borders Town Square on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 12 p.m. The event will allow guests to meet the one and only Cat in the Hat and enjoy a special reading by Vegas PBS’ Ready to Learn team. Vegas PBS Ready to Learn provides literacy and health based workshops to schools and families throughout Las Vegas. This event is open to the public.

It’s getting hot at Barre Las Vegas and the temperature is about to go up even more. The fitness studio is launching Hot Pilates, a class that challenges your core, thighs, seat and upper body while strengthening and toning. A free fitness program at Town Square is making it easy and affordable for people to stay active. Fitness in the Square takes place in Town Square Park each Sunday and offers group fitness classes for adults and children.
